Sport Center Saturday ~ Roy Eugene TRENT

My great grandpa Roy Eugene TRENT was a Southpaw pitcher in baseball. He played for the Wheatland Reds who was managed by his future father-in-law, Weaver STAFFORD. His brother Glenn TRENT and future brother-in-law Paul STAFFORD were also on the team. He also attended a training camp for the Indianapolis Indians farmers league and St. Louis Cardinals. In 1936, he went to Union City, Tennessee to play in the Kitty League.

Roy TRENT is center on the top row.
